Friendship Force (E. Gibbons)

On behalf of City Council, Deputy Mayor E. Gibbons welcomed the Friendship Force - a Travel Exchange Group, visiting Edmonton.  This initiative was started by Jimmy Carter.  The visiting group consists of 15 Zeeland Netherlands residents and local hosts.

Deputy Mayor E. Gibbons explained the public hearing process.

Bylaw 15470 - Amendment to Transportation System Bylaw 15101 to include Northwest LRT alignment

B. Latte and A. Laughlin, Transportation Department, made a presentation.

Mayor N. Crause , City of St. Albert; B. Sveinson; M. Carriere; J. Gillis; P. Lo; K. Kosof and M. Stanway, Kingsway Business Association, made presentations.

Copies of documents presented by B. Sveinson and J. Gillis were distributed to Members of Council and a copy of each was filed with the Office of the City Clerk.
