Sohi called the meeting to order at 1:41 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2023, and acknowledged that City Auditor Recruitment Committee meets on the traditional land of Treaty 6 Territory and Métis Homelands. The Chair also acknowledged the diverse Indigenous peoples whose ancestors' footsteps have marked this territory for centuries such as: Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Nakota Sioux, as well as Métis and Inuit, and now settlers from around the world.1.2Roll Call Mayor A. Sohi conducted roll call and confirmed the attendance of Members of the City Auditor Recruitment Committee. Councillor J. Rice was absent with notice. K. Stolarz, Deputy City Clerk, S. Parsons and M. de Guzman, Office of the City Clerk, were also in attendance.1.3Election of Vice-Chair Mayor A. Sohi called for nominations for the position of Vice-Chair, City Auditor Recruitment Committee. Councillor K. Principe nominated Councillor J. Wright for the position of Vice-Chair, City Auditor Recruitment Committee. Mayor A. Sohi asked if there were any further nominations. There being no other nominations, Mayor A.
