Call to Order and Related Business

Call to Order and Land Acknowledgement 

Acting Mayor M. Janz called the meeting to order at 8:33 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Deputy Mayor A. Stevenson acknowledged that Agenda Review Committee meets on the traditional land of Treaty 6 Territory and the Métis homeland. The Chair also acknowledged the diverse Indigenous peoples whose ancestors' footsteps have marked this territory for centuries such as: Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Nakota Sioux, as well as Métis and Inuit, and now settlers from around the world.

Roll Call

Deputy Mayor A. Stevenson conducted roll call and confirmed the attendance of Members of Agenda Review Committee.

Mayor A. Sohi was absent as per the leave of absence authorized by City Council on March 24, 2025.

Councillor K. Tang; E. Robar, City Manager; and A. Giesbrecht, City Clerk, N. Jacobsen, Meeting Clerk and T. Day, Office of the City Clerk, were also in attendance.
