Mayor D. Iveson called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m.

Mayor D. Iveson confirmed the attendance of the following Committee members: Councillors S. Hamilton, B. Esslinger, B. Henderson and S. McKeen.

Councillors M. Banga, T. Cartmell, A. Knack, A. Paquette and M. Walters were also in attendance.

Mayor D. Iveson and Councillors S. Hamilton, B. Henderson, A. Knack and M. Walters participated electronically for a portion of the meeting.

Councillors M. Banga, B. Esslinger, T. Cartmell, S. McKeen and A. Paquette participated electronically.

A. Giesbrecht, City Clerk, was also in attendance.

T. Mullen, Optimum Talent, answered Committee's questions.

    That the September 15, 2020, City Manager Recruitment Committee meeting agenda be adopted.

    1. That Orders of the Day be changed to recess after approval of the minutes and continue on September 16, 2020, at 3 p.m. (provided the City Council Public Hearing on the City Plan has concluded) and that item 3.1 City Manager Recruitment Update - Verbal report, be referred back to the consultant to inform candidates of the issues arising from the request from members of Council to circulate the candidate materials more broadly than was originally communicated to the candidates, specifically that their application information may be more widely circulated upon request of members of Council not on the the City Manager Recruitment Committee.
    2. That the Mayor request to add an item to the September 14/15/16, 2020, City Council Public Hearing (City Plan) meeting for the purpose of providing an update to City Council on the direction outlined above in a verbal report as the last item on the agenda.
