Councillor M. Janz called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and acknowledged that Urban Planning Committee meets on the traditional land of Treaty 6 Territory and the Métis homeland. The Chair also acknowledged the diverse Indigenous peoples whose ancestors' footsteps have marked this territory for centuries such as: Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Nakota Isga, as well as Métis and Inuit, and now settlers from around the world.

Councillor M. Janz conducted roll call and confirmed the attendance of Members of Urban Planning Committee.

Mayor A. Sohi is a Committee Member pursuant to section 15(3), Council Committees Bylaw 18156.

Councillor J. Wright stated that at the next regular meeting of City Council, the following motion would be moved:

That Administration prepare an unfunded service package for consideration during the 2025 Fall Supplemental Operating Budget Adjustment to fully fund Phase 2, Resource and Capacity Alignment, as outlined in the June 5, 2025, Council memo, Traffic Signals Program Review.
