Councillor A. Knack called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022, and acknowledged that Council Services Committee meets on the traditional land of Treaty 6 Territory. The Chair also acknowledged the diverse Indigenous peoples whose ancestors' footsteps have marked this territory for centuries such as: Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Nakota Sioux, as well as Metis and Inuit, and now settlers from around the world.

Councillor A. Knack conducted roll call and confirmed the attendance of Members of Council Services Committee. 

*Mayor A. Sohi is a Committee Member pursuant to section 15(3), Council Committees Bylaw 18156.

    • 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for City Council Public Hearing.

    With the unanimous consent of Council Services Committee, Councillor S. Hamilton withdrew the motion.

Councillor A. Stevenson stated that at the next regular meeting of City Council, she would move the following: 

That up to $x be approved to purchase chairs for Elected Officials in the River Valley Room and seating for the public and that funding come from Council Contingency.
